A Session refers to an exam appointment at the Examination Center Flugring Salzburg (Duration: 3 hours). A theoretical CPL/IR/CB-IR/ATPL exam can be taken in several sittings, but no more than six. The entire exam, including any subsequent exams, must be successfully completed within the six sittings mentioned. A sitting consists of ten consecutive calendar days. No examination paper can be repeated within these ten days, otherwise a new sitting begins from the time of repeating.
Yes, you can take only certain subjects with us, with the exeption of LAPL and PPL, provided you started the exams with Austro Control. For LAPL and PPL exams, all subjects must be completed in one day. Switching between authorities, e.g., from LBA (German Federal Aviation Office) to us, is not possible. We only offer exams under the authority of Austro Control.
Yes, you can choose the order of the subjects freely. However, a started subject must be completed.
Until the registration deadline, it is possible to request a change of subjects by email. We will make the change for you. Please send us an email. However, the number of subjects per session must remain the same.
Yes, select "Session only" as the type of exam and "00-NS, no subject" for subjects. Make sure to select the correct sitting!
You will see the exam results immediately after completing each subject. Austro Control will send you the results via email after the exam. If you pass all subjects, we will send you the signed results by mail.
No, you can only irrevocably cancel the reservation in the dashboard. The processing fee and the exam tax will not be refunded. It will not count as an attempt!
No, if you have registered for a subject but do not show up or start the exam on the exam day, it will not count as an attempt.
Please send us an email with the email address you used for registration and an identity proof (passport, ID card, driver’s license, etc.) as a PDF. We will then check your registration in our system.
No, you can only book sessions that are published on our website and still have available slots. You may find an available slot at Austro Control or another external Austro Control examination center.
